Matriculation Exemption & University Admission |

The minimum requirements for
entrance to South African universities are determined by HESA. Over and above
that most Universities and even individual faculties have their own admission
requirements. Most Universities scrutinise their applicants’ results from the
end of Grade 11 through to their final results at the end of Grade 12. Based
on these results and the Universities’ own access tests, they may be able to
offer provisional acceptance before the final examination results are
