Christian School is registered as a Cambridge International Examinations
Centre. Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) is a department of the prestigious
University of Cambridge Local Examinations Syndicate. Our academic programme includes the following

Classes
from Grade 00 to Grade 12 ·
Approximately
20 pupils in a class (except in Grades 10 to 12 where more students are
needed in the subject option groups) ·
Afrikaans
offered as a First & Second Language subject up to Matric ·
Primary
School up to Grade 6, with separate English & Afrikaans classes up to
Grade 5 ·
Junior
High School phase from Grades 7 to 9, with Cambridge Checkpoint examinations
in Grade 9 ·
Senior
High School phase from Grades 10 to 12 ·
IGCSE
examinations in Grades 10 & 11
(similar to the GCSE in the UK) ·
AS
Level examinations in Grade 12 (accepted by HESA for Matriculation Exemption
or for the equivalent of the National Senior Certificate – depending on
subjects and marks) Subjects offered include: Travel & Tourism, Music as
a subject, Physical Education as a preparation for Sports Science (depending
on the demand), Art & Design, Information Technology, Technical Drawing,
Technology, Accounting, Economic & Management Sciences, Xhosa
